Admissions for All Degrees

The TOLC-E is used for Economics, Business Administration, and some Social Science programs. It focuses more on logic and verbal skills than pure math.

• Subjects: Logic, Verbal Comprehension, Mathematics.
• English Version: The "English TOLC-E" is available for many popular business schools, like those at Bologna or Rome Tor Vergata.
• Key Universities: University of Bologna, University of Rome Tor Vergata, University of Padua.

The TOLC-S is for a wide range of scientific programs, including Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, and more.

• Subjects: Basic Mathematics, Reasoning & Problem Solving, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences.
• Note: This is a good backup option for students who are also preparing for the IMAT, as the science subjects overlap.

Admission to Architecture is separate and highly competitive. The most prestigious university, Politecnico di Milano, uses its own test called the **ARCHED** test.

• Subjects: Logic, Verbal Comprehension, General Knowledge (History/Art), Representation & Visual Communication, Mathematics & Physics.
• Key Feature: The "Representation" section is unique and tests your ability to understand 2D/3D drawings, plans, and elevations.
• Other Universities: Politecnico di Torino uses its own test, the TIL-A (Test in Laib - Architettura).
